Job summary

CODEplus is seeking a Solutions Architect – EA (Azure) in Huntsville, AL. You will design and lead large-scale cloud modernization for DoD and federal customers, serving as the Azure technical authority and guiding engineering teams.

You will drive enterprise migrations, secure cloud platforms, and align architecture with DoD requirements, while collaborating with Agile/DevSecOps squads to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Hands-on Azure architecture experience across networks, identity, compute, storage, and security.
• Experience leading enterprise cloud migrations and multi‑region designs.
• Proficient in IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and CI/CD/DevSecOps.
• Strong leadership and ability to brief senior stakeholders.
• Experience with government customers and regulated cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise-scale Azure solutions.
• Define landing zones, multi-region architectures, and high-availability solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements (IL4/IL5, RMF, NIST 800-53).
• Lead migrations and transformations of legacy workloads.
• Develop IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and security automation.
• Collaborate with Agile/SAFe teams and mentor engineers.
• Engage with government customers and senior leadership.
• Produce architecture diagrams and decision papers.
