VSolvit is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead the design, modernization, and migration of enterprise applications within an Azure Government IL5 environment supporting a DoD customer.

You will drive secure, scalable cloud-native solutions, modernize on-premises systems, implement governance and DevSecOps, and mentor engineering teams across hybrid deployments. This role requires deep security, Zero Trust, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise-scale software engineering and technical project leadership.
• Azure Government IL5 expertise with DoD Zero Trust principles and IL5 security controls.
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end migrations of legacy on-premises apps to secure cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD, and enterprise cloud governance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end migration of legacy on-premises applications to Azure Government IL5.
• Design secure, scalable cloud-native architectures and reference architectures.
• Design Azure networking including VNets, NSGs, firewall, load balancers, VPN, ExpressRoute, and private endpoints.
• Architect secure identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust.
• Architect containerized environments with AKS, Docker, Helm, and ACR; plan multi-cluster strategies.
• Develop Data Lake architectures with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and analytics platforms.
• Architect AI/ML solutions with Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, RAG, LLMs, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Establish governance and DevSecOps pipelines with Infrastructure as Code and policy controls.
• Provide architectural leadership, mentorship, and cross-team guidance.
