Job summary

BSC Analytics is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a remote-first team building robust platform solutions for regulated enterprises. You will architect and run Kubernetes on AWS/Azure, implement CI/CD, and automate infrastructure with Terraform while migrating legacy workloads to modern cloud-native services.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers, communicate complex concepts clearly, and own infrastructure reliability and cost efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Azure experience.
• 3+ years with Terraform and other IaC tooling.
• 2+ years building and operating Kubernetes in production.
• Hands-on experience migrating or modernizing legacy workloads to cloud.
• Comfort with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery roles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong multi-tasker, self-starter, proactive team player.
• Cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to design, build, and support platform solutions.
• Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS and/or Azure.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid, high-quality code delivery.
• Build automated infrastructure with Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization of legacy workloads to cloud-native services.
• Automate scaling, deployment, and management of containerized apps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune system performance for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement proactive monitoring to detect and prevent outages.
• Translate client requirements into scalable, automated solutions.
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing, runbooks, and process improvement.
