Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to support and optimize a Microsoft Azure environment with a strong emphasis on Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Server administration, and cloud infrastructure operations. The role covers day-to-day platform management, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business-critical systems and end users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Azure administration or cloud engineering.
• Strong Windows Server skills with patching and backup experience.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and user profile management.
• Azure certifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure-hosted Windows Server environments.
• Manage Azure VMs, storage, networking, backup, and security controls.
• Lead Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, session hosts, and workspaces.
• Monitor health, capacity, and end-user experience with Azure tools.
• Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, and technical docs.
• Collaborate with IT and security to improve reliability and security.
• Identify automation opportunities and contribute to cloud modernization.
