Job summary

Farmers and Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud & Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate the Bank's Microsoft Azure cloud platform in support of technology modernization.

You will establish Azure foundations, governance, and automation while partnering with Security, Risk, and Audit teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• 4+ years hands-on Azure experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with regulated environments and security/compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and support enterprise-class Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Establish Azure Landing Zones, including governance, identity integration, and logging.
• Develop reusable cloud platform architectures and patterns for scalable adoption.
• Engineer secure, resilient cloud solutions with backup, DR, and continuity capabilities.
• Migrate on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure and modernize applications.
• Create IaC with Terraform, Bicep; implement CI/CD using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Automate provisioning, config management, monitoring, and security controls.
• Design and manage AKS environments, including security, observability, and networking.
• Implement Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Key Vault, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud with least privilege.
