Job summary

The Senior Azure Cloud & Platform Engineer at Farmers and Merchants Bank of Long Beach designs, builds, automates, and operates the bank's Microsoft Azure cloud platform in support of its modernization strategy.

You will establish Azure foundations, governance, and automation frameworks, implementing reusable cloud solutions, and guiding security, compliance, and reliability across enterprise workloads. This role collaborates with multiple teams and participates in on‑call activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or related technology.
Minimum of 4 years of significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including the design, implementation, automation, and support of enterprise cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, implement, and support Azure infrastructure and platform services aligned with business objectives.
Establish and enhance Azure Landing Zones, governance, and identity integration.
Develop reusable cloud architectures and patterns for secure, scalable adoption of Azure services.
Engineer scalable, resilient cloud solutions including backup, DR, and continuity capabilities.
Migrate on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure and modernize applications and infrastructure.
