Job summary

Echo Global Logistics seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design, governance, and evolution of our enterprise Azure cloud platform. The role emphasizes enterprise Azure architecture, Landing Zones, Well-Architected governance, platform reliability, FinOps, disaster recovery, AI-driven operations, and engineering standards for mission-critical logistics systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 10+ years designing enterprise cloud infrastructure.
• 7+ years designing and operating Microsoft Azure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern enterprise-scale Azure platforms with multi-region resilience.
• Lead Landing Zone architecture, governance, networking, security, and standards.
• Drive Well-Architected reviews and engineering best practices.
• Build IaC using Terraform and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and define enterprise cloud strategy.
