Job summary

Visual Edge IT seeks an IT Systems Engineer to design, support, and optimize Microsoft cloud technologies, acting as a key escalation resource for advanced issues. You will work across Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, and supporting infrastructure to keep environments secure, reliable, and scalable.

This role balances project work, infrastructure improvements, and high-level technical support, offering opportunities to impact the organization broadly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced scripting and automation across PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, M365, Intune, Defender, and related cloud tech.
• Strong experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Foundational networking, servers, endpoints, and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with ITSM processes, tickets, changes, and incident management.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach to technical support.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, administer, and support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, and endpoint management.
• Provide advanced Level II/III support for Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues with focus on service delivery.
• Lead technical projects from planning through completion and report status to stakeholders.
• Support ITSM processes, incident/change management, and maintain documentation.
