Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a Sr. Cloud Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable, secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will translate business requirements into practical cloud architectures and drive migration and modernization efforts for clients and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on design with IaC, monitoring, and governance, collaborating with engineering and operations to deliver exceptional service and client value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in cloud engineering or enterprise IT roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure migrations and workload transfers.
• Knowledge of Azure security, networking, identity services, and IAM.
• IaC using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform required.
• Hybrid infra, Azure Virtual Desktop, Entra ID Domain Services, and Azure services experience.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Python; Power Automate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based cloud solutions per architectural standards.
• Translate business requirements into practical cloud architectures.
• Deploy and support secure IaaS and PaaS solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Implement identity services and cloud-based desktop environments.
• Establish baseline configurations for Azure workloads for consistency.
• Support modernization and migration initiatives including planning and execution.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and participate in IaC peer reviews.
• Implement monitoring, diagnostics, governance, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business needs.
• Provide architectural input, guidance, and knowledge sharing across projects.
