Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Sr Microsoft Engineer - Azure/Intune for a remote US-based Independent Contract position. You will design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, Intune, and Microsoft 365 services to support secure, scalable IT environments.

You should have 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft experience, strong PowerShell skills, and proficiency with Active Directory, Windows Server, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure administration and services.
• Experience administering Intune and Endpoint Manager.
• Expertise with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server.
• PowerShell scripting and automation knowledge.
• Strong networking, security, and identity management understanding.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Azure AD, and security services.
• Monitor cloud resources and optimize performance, availability, and cost.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Administer and support Intune and Endpoint Manager environments.
• Configure device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app deployments.
• Manage Windows Autopilot provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Ensure endpoint security, patch management, and device compliance.
