Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Sr Microsoft Engineer - Azure/Intune for remote-US work. The contractor will design, implement, administer, and support enterprise Microsoft environments including Azure, Intune, M365, Windows Server, and Active Directory.

The role emphasizes cloud modernization, security, and scalable IT operations. The candidate will design and optimize Azure infrastructure, manage Intune/Endpoint Manager, and ensure Defender/Sentinel security across on-prem and cloud resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years supporting Microsoft enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on Azure administration and Intune/Endpoint Manager experience.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
Manage Azure VMs, VNets, Storage, Azure AD, and security services.
Administer and support Intune and Endpoint Manager, with device policies and Autopilot.
Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
Maintain Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy; ensure backups and DR.
Implement Defender and Sentinel, handle security assessments and audits.
