Job summary

TrueTandem is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain enterprise-scale Azure foundations. You’ll work on governance, networking, security, and IaC automation in a mission-driven federal environment.

You will join a cross-functional team of architects, engineers, and cybersecurity professionals to deliver scalable cloud capabilities while meeting CAF, NIST, and TIC 3.0 requirements. Hybrid work with on-site days in Bethesda/ Tysons is offered.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility (higher clearance assets)
• 5+ years managing Tier II Azure or 3+ years Tier III enterprise Azure infra
• Hands-on Azure landing zones design and support per CAF and best practices
• Deep Azure governance, management groups, subscriptions, RBAC, policies, Key Vault
• Experience with Azure networking (Virtual WAN, VNets, NSGs) and hybrid-cloud
• Proficient in PowerShell and IaC tooling (Terraform, Bicep)

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain IaC (Terraform) for secure Azure infra
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for provisioning
• Architect and sustain Azure services aligned with CAF and Well-Architected framework
• Implement governance: Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups, RBAC
• Manage Key Vault, storage, and data protection strategies
• Oversee networking: VNets, Virtual WAN, NSGs, private connectivity
• Monitor with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerts
• Support migration and modernization of workloads to Azure
• Ensure Zero Trust, TIC 3.0, and NIST compliance throughout lifecycle
• Produce architecture diagrams, docs, and audit artifacts
