Devopsroles is seeking a Senior IT Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer in Florida to design, implement, and optimize complex Azure and hybrid infrastructure. You will lead projects, define technical standards, and act as escalation point for critical incidents.

The role requires broad technical expertise, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across teams while mentoring junior engineers and driving modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. 4-6 years of systems engineering or enterprise infrastructure experience
• Advanced expertise in Windows Server and/or Linux environments and enterprise virtualization platforms
• Experience with storage area networks, backup systems, and high-availability configurations
• Proficiency with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible)
• Strong knowledge of systems performance tuning, capacity planning, and infrastructure security
• Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, or equivalent certification required.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Engineer Azure compute, networking, storage, backup, DR, monitoring, and identity.
• Lead hybrid integration across Azure, Windows Server, Linux, VMware, AD, DNS, and networks.
• Diagnose performance, availability, latency, authentication, replication, and dependencies.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code modules and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish availability, resiliency, security, and disaster recovery standards.
• Analyze Azure usage and costs; recommend rightsizing and savings plans.
• Lead medium to large infrastructure projects from design to transition.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical reviews.
