Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring an Azure Enclave Admin in Springfield, Virginia. The role focuses on Azure administration, enclave management, patching, and secure infrastructure operations in a Top Secret/SCI eligible environment.

The position requires 5–8+ years in system administration and Azure experience, with certifications such as AZ-104 or equivalent and strong documentation skills. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of system administration and enclave management experience.
• ≥6 months of production Azure services experience (compute, networking, storage, identity).
• Experience with Azure environments including subscriptions, resource groups, and Entra ID.
• Experience creating/managing VMs, containers, and Azure storage.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• 5+ years building and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and Azure diagrams.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid cloud.
• Strong cloud security understanding: IAM, network security, Zero Trust, security controls.
• Ability to communicate with engineers, security, and compliance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform system patching, firmware updates, and configuration management across enclave environments.
• Troubleshoot enclave, system, and infrastructure issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and guides.
• Administer Azure environments: compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement controls and improve operations.
