Job summary

Alight Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure for healthcare applications. You will work across Azure and AWS, leveraging Terraform and YAML pipelines to deliver CI/CD capabilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python), and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS). Flexible/remote-friendly, with weekend releases and on-call rotations on occasion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Hands-on Azure and AWS experience (3+ years).
• Proficient with YAML-based CI/CD pipelines and multi-stage templates.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for CI/CD governance.
• Scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS/EKS) or GitOps tools (Argo CD/ Flux).
• Observability tools: Azure Application Insights, New Relic, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch.
• Post-secondary CS or technical degree (4+ years).
• Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CI enforcement.
• Ensure SOC 2, HIPAA compliance and security standards.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and reliability of distributed cloud services.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams.
