Job summary

Addepto is seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain Azure infrastructure, optimize deployments, and improve automation. You will collaborate with software and data teams to keep production and non-production environments secure, reliable, and scalable.

The role involves CI/CD, serverless services, monitoring, and incident response. Ideal candidates have ~3 years in DevOps, strong Azure skills, and a proactive mindset for cost control and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Around 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Hands-on Azure knowledge covering compute, storage, networking, identity, and security fundamentals.
• Practical Terraform experience with modules, variables, remote state, and safe plan/apply workflows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and Git and pull requests.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Azure Databricks and understanding of compute management.
• Familiarity with serverless operations like Azure Functions and Event Hubs concepts.
• Ability to automate tasks in Python/PowerShell/Bash and use monitoring tools.
• Good English communication and prudent change-management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform and environment configurations.
• Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Support cloud data platforms such as Azure Databricks and manage resources.
• Deploy and maintain serverless services, including Azure Functions and Event Hubs.
• Troubleshoot networking, DNS, private endpoints, Entra ID, and RBAC issues.
• Maintain monitoring and incident investigations using Logs/Insights.
• Support production releases and recovery testing with rollback documentation.
• Write operational scripts and automate recurring tasks to optimize costs.
