Job summary

Hitachi Solutions is a global Microsoft solutions integrator focused on delivering industry-specific cloud solutions. We seek a Senior Technical Sales Specialist to lead presales, shape technical strategy, and drive customer transformation in Azure data, AI, and D365 space.

The role combines discovery, demonstrations, and solution definition with a remote-first posture, travel up to 20%, and frequent collaboration with Microsoft teams and Account Executives to win strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in consulting, solution delivery, or technical presales.
• Must have previous experience in technical pre-sales with a Microsoft partner or large consulting firm selling Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Solution breadth across the Microsoft Ecosystem, with working depth in one or more of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure data and AI services.
• Microsoft role-based certifications relevant to assigned solution areas.
• Established working relationships with Microsoft field sellers and technical specialists, and experience with co-sell motions.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical narrative across assigned opportunities, spanning multiple solution areas within the Microsoft Cloud portfolio.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to surface business drivers and pain points.
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and proofs of concept across D365, Power Platform, and Azure data and AI services.
• Define solution approaches, document trade-offs, and recommend options aligned with business value and feasibility.
• Develop scope, high-level architecture, and effort estimates in partnership with delivery leadership.
• Contribute technical content to proposals, RFPs, and pricing narratives.
