Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Azure Cyber Engineer to design, deploy, and secure Azure SIPRNet environments as part of the USAF Cloud One Architecture. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 6+ years of cloud security experience. The position is onsite near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) with potential travel for meetings.

Responsibilities include RMF/ATO documentation, working with ACCAS/Nessus, Defender, and Sentinel, and mentoring junior staff on cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience supporting cloud-hosted systems and/or applications.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, operate, and maintain RMF/ATO for Microsoft Azure SIPRNet environments.
• Serve as SME for system design, builds, and Authority to Operate (ATO) efforts on cybersecurity requirements and tooling.
• Operate, configure and maintain compliance tools/services including ACAS/Nessus scanners; Defender for Cloud; Sentinel data connectors.
• Monitor and query logging and event monitoring tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Network Watcher.
• Document mitigation details, compile scan exports, generate vulnerability reports, and create POA&M.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with team members to foster a learning environment.
