Job summary

Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture contract and seeks a Senior Azure Cyber Engineer to modernize a global multi-cloud environment. You will design, deploy, and maintain ATO-ready Azure SIPRNet systems while serving as SME for cybersecurity requirements and tooling.

You will operate ACAS/Nessus, Defender, and Sentinel, monitor with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, and drive vulnerability reporting, remediation, and STIG compliance. Onsite Boston-area support is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 6+ years
• 6+ years of experience with cloud-hosted systems or applications
• Active DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship
• IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, or equivalent)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or equivalent
• ACAS Certified - Operator and Supervisor
• Hands-on experience with KQL, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, and DISA STIGs

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, operate, and maintain RMF/ATO for Azure SIPRNet environments
• Serve as SME for IT stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements and tooling
• Operate and maintain ACAS/Nessus, Defender, Sentinel, and other cloud tools
• Monitor logs with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Network Watcher
• Document mitigation details, POA&M, vulnerability reports
• Ensure compliance with SCCA, Cloud Computing SRG, STIG/SRG
• Prepare RMF artifacts and support ATO sustainment
• Coordinate patch compliance and remediation
• Mentor junior staff and participate in customer briefings
