Job summary

Exelon is seeking an IT Senior Systems Engineer II to design, implement, and optimize complex IT systems across cloud and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with architecture, vendors, and business partners to deliver secure, reliable hosting for applications in Exelon’s enterprise environment.

You will mentor peers, contribute to strategy with architecture, and ensure compliance and performance while delivering high-quality infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Networking with 4–7 years in IT infra design or 6–9 years in related fields.
• Experience designing/documenting processes and leading operational handoffs.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, and security/compliance awareness.
• Ability to communicate complex issues to senior leaders and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with business partners and vendors to gather requirements and feasibility.
• Lead design/implementation plans and deliver cost-effective IT solutions.
• Design, support, and maintain system integrations for customer needs.
• Provide data to leadership on risks, issues, and performance metrics.
• Guide peers through code reviews and mentoring of junior engineers.
