Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a hybrid Sr. Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer in Bethesda, MD to design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure. The role focuses on architecture, automation, and resilience across cloud environments.

The candidate will partner with development, security, and operations teams to implement cloud-native and serverless solutions, with a strong emphasis on IaC and secure networking designs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or cloud engineering with Azure focus
• Strong IaC expertise and knowledge of Azure networking, resiliency, and security frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Azure-native recovery tools and modern app ecosystems

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and day-to-day management of Azure environments for stability, scalability, and performance
• Develop and enforce automated provisioning using IaC to standardize deployments
• Design secure cloud networking for platform services and workloads
• Drive disaster recovery strategies aligned with business continuity goals
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams on cloud-native/serverless solutions
