Job summary

TriluxTech is seeking a senior Microsoft Azure Engineer in San Diego to own the Azure cloud platform, identity governance, and security posture for a federally regulated financial institution. You will collaborate with the Sr.

Engineer and Technology Architect on hybrid identity, data lake initiatives, and cost management. You will lead automation, change management, and operational excellence across Azure subscriptions, VNets, and Defender for Cloud posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in production Azure infrastructure and identity tech.
• 5+ years administering Active Directory in multi-domain environments.
• 4+ years with Entra ID/Azure AD in hybrid identity setups.
• 3+ years in a federally regulated industry with audit/compliance exposure.
• Design and maintain Azure network topology and security controls.
• Experience with Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure subscription architecture across subscriptions.
• Own and administer Azure Virtual Network topology including hub-spoke design.
• Manage IaaS and PaaS lifecycles with DevOps-style change management.
• Maintain baseline configuration, detect drift, and remediate.
• Serve as primary technical owner for Azure projects including data lake initiatives.
• Administer Entra ID tenancy health and MFA enforcement per policy.
• Coordinate with endpoint and identity teams on hybrid identity changes.
• Produce quarterly Azure security posture reports for audit readiness.
• Lead cost management, tagging governance, and monthly forecasting.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell/Python automation for operations.
