Job summary

Vaxcyte seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant hosting solutions meeting high security standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Azure certification and have hands‑on experience with AKS, ADF, Managed SQL, VMs, and Batch Accounts, in potentially regulated Life Sciences contexts. Hybrid work arrangement applies with onsite presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
• Azure certification required (AZ-104/AZ-305).
• Experience with Terraform for large-scale provisioning.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, VNets, subnets, NSGs, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with AKS, ADF, Managed SQL, VMs, and Batch Accounts.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Provision and maintain Azure services including AKS, ADF, Fabric, Managed SQL Instances, VMs, and Batch Accounts.
• Build and maintain secure networks, firewalls, private endpoints, NSGs, and segmentation.
