Job summary

SHI is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to help drive the design, deployment, and automation of Azure-based cloud infrastructure. You will lead automation efforts, mentor engineers, and collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will craft reusable IaC modules using Terraform, write automation scripts in Python and Bash, and maintain Docker/Kubernetes environments for cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or equivalent.
• 5+ years cloud infra experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Expertise in Terraform IaC, modules, and state management.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting for automation.
• Production experience with Jenkins, Groovy pipelines, and CI/CD.
• Docker and Kubernetes administration and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud infra with automation.
• Develop reusable IaC modules and Terraform frameworks.
• Create automation scripts in Python and Bash for provisioning and config.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Lead incident response and drive RCA and preventive actions.
• Mentor junior cloud engineers and set architectural standards.
