Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to drive DevOps excellence across our organization. The role focuses on design, build, and operations of Azure cloud infrastructure, supporting multiple teams with IaC (Terraform).

The ideal candidate has extensive Azure Cloud and Terraform experience and collaborates with engineering teams to improve scalability, reliability, and speed to market. On-site work at Conshohocken, PA or Carrollton, TX is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
Substantial experience in DevOps, with at least 4 years focusing on Azure DevOps as an engineer/tech lead.
Experience with Microsoft Azure services (DNS, App Gateway, SQL, App Services, Blob Storage, Load Balancer, WAF).
Understanding of DevOps, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, orchestration, CI/CD.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

Responsibilities

Have proven experience with develop, implement and deploying applications to Azure cloud.
Deploy applications leveraging Azure services like AppGateway, APIM, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Redis.
Deploy using network topologies: VNET/NSG/Private DNS, Private Endpoints, Express Route.
Monitor deployed apps using Log Analytics, Application Insights, Metrics.
Develop provisioning of Azure resources with Terraform (IaC).
Collaborate to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure deployments follow scalability, security, and reliability best practices.
Evaluate and recommend Azure DevOps tools, technologies, and processes.
Enable engineering teams with DevOps resources and knowledge sharing.
