Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design, build, and deploy APIs and integrations using Azure API Management, Function Apps, Service Bus, and Event Hubs.

You will write Python for APIs and connectors, model API-driven patterns, and help migrate workloads to Azure. The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise integration platforms, MuleSoft or similar, and a strong grasp of Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3–5+ years of middleware or integration engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise integration platforms and APIs.
• Proficient Python development for APIs and connectors.
• Knowledge of distributed version control and modern branching strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy APIs and integrations using Azure services.
• Write clean, well-tested Python for APIs and connectors.
• Model and deliver API-driven solutions with a layered strategy.
• Support and migrate workloads to Azure from other platforms.
• Build event-driven integration patterns and test thoroughly.
• Review code, participate in testing, and mentor teammates.
