We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure technologies. This role is hands‑on, highly technical, and focused on building secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
This is a full‑time remote role (U.S.-based only).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration solutions using Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Event Grid, and related technologies.
- Build reusable integration patterns and ensure best practices across cloud‑based integrations.
API Development & Management
- Develop and manage APIs using Azure API Management, ensuring secure access, governance, versioning, and documentation.
Hands‑On Integration Development
- Build, configure, and deploy integrations using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and automation tools.
- Utilize C#, PowerShell, and scripting languages to support custom integration logic.
Security, Authentication & Identity
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and managed identities.
- Integrate with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Azure AD B2C for identity and access management.
Data Transformation & Orchestration
- Perform data mapping and transformation using JSON, XML, and code‑based logic.
- Design workflows that orchestrate data across internal and external systems.
Troubleshooting & Operational Support
- Diagnose integration failures, improve performance, and support production environments.
- Use Azure monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics) for observability and issue resolution.
- Partner with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and integration standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on integration experience, with a strong focus on Azure.
- Proficiency in Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Functions, and related integration services.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in C# and PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of REST & SOAP APIs, event‑driven architectures, and messaging technologies.
- Expertise in OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise‑grade API security.
- Experience working with JSON, XML, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Git.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Exposure to Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Understanding of microservices and modern cloud architecture principles.
