Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Software Integration Developer in Huntsville, AL with hybrid flexibility to own end-to-end integrations across core business systems. You'll design, build, secure, and maintain API and middleware integrations, map data, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of API integration experience, strong coding skills (C#/Python/Java), and deep knowledge of Azure services and iPaaS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• US Citizenship with active Secret clearance or ability to obtain preferred.
• 6+ years of experience developing application and data integrations, including hands-on API development.
• Deep expertise in RESTful and SOAP API design and lifecycle management.
• Experience with integration platforms (Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Data Factory; or MuleSoft/Boomi).
• Data mapping, transformation, and ETL/ELT, with source-to-target documentation.
• Authentication and security (OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, API keys, mTLS, secrets management).
• Strong programming skills (C#/.NET, Python, or Java) and SQL.
• Experience integrating ERP, HCM, CLM, workflow, or collaboration platforms.
• Experience documenting data flow diagrams and integration architecture.
• Experience with Azure data services and data warehousing (Azure Synapse/SQL).
• Ability to coordinate integration projects across multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Understanding data classification across commercial, FedRAMP, and CMMC/CUI environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end integration lifecycle from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and develop API-based integrations (REST and SOAP) and data flows between platforms.
• Create and maintain data mappings and source-to-target documentation.
• Maintain data flow diagrams and integration architecture documents.
• Design and implement authentication and security for integrations.
• Build middleware to bridge systems across classifications with proper controls.
• Manage data pipelines into the Azure Data Warehouse and support analytics.
• Coordinate integration projects with owners and vendors; drive delivery.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance to meet needs.
• Monitor production integrations, troubleshoot, and manage logging/alerting.
