Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a manufacturing operations leader in the Grapevine area to oversee assembly of commercial trailer axles and related heavy-duty components. You will drive productivity, implement Lean and EH&S initiatives, and align with corporate objectives while mentoring a team and ensuring quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing or operations, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes; Six Sigma tools beneficial.
• No relocation benefit; only candidates in immediate geographic area considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage resources for assembly of commercial trailer axles and heavy-duty wheel-end products.
• Support financial, customer, quality and employee objectives.
• Maintain manufacturing timelines and drive productivity and cost improvements.
• Lead Lean and EH&S initiatives within the department.
• Administer company and plant policies; ensure effective interdepartmental communications.
• Develop and implement cost, productivity, and strategic manufacturing programs.
• Analyze capacity and optimize layouts; justify equipment expenditures.
• Coordinate with Demand Planning to optimize throughput.
• Define metrics for business drivers and monitor quality performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports; conduct performance evaluations.
• Pursue FleetPride ethics and maintain EH&S management system.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and manage budget.
