Serco Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance reliability, security, and performance of AWS-hosted applications and infrastructure.

The role focuses on automation, container workloads, and CI/CD improvements, with a hybrid schedule and on-site support at the Pentagon up to 80%. You will lead architecture for AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux platforms, containers, and observability, while collaborating with development, cybersecurity, and operations

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10 years of experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related technical role.
• Active interim or Secret security clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a senior technical authority for AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux platforms, containers, CI/CD, automation, and best practices.
• Architect, implement, and improve reliability, availability, performance, and security of AWS-hosted apps and infra.
• Design and support containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
• Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and services.
• Establish and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and config-management standards.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, scanning, and deploying applications.
