Job summary

Think Consulting invites a Senior AWS Python Application Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale data and application solutions in a cloud-native AWS environment. You will build scalable applications, process large data volumes, and collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to deliver robust software.

The ideal candidate brings strong Python development experience, deep AWS expertise, and a proven track record delivering complex applications throughout the software

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with enterprise-scale applications.
• 4+ years hands-on Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and Amazon EMR.
• 5+ years designing, building, and deploying applications within AWS.
• Experience with SDLC and enterprise software development methodologies.
• Ability to lead technical projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements, user stories, and solution designs with product owners and architects.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications and data processing solutions in AWS.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design specs, implementation guides, and runbooks.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely maintenance and support.
• Lead technical initiatives from design to implementation with minimal supervision.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance across teams.
• Use DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, deployments, and releases.
• Ensure high-quality code delivery with unit testing and engineering excellence.
