Job summary

CertiPath is seeking a Senior AWS Platform Engineer in Reston, VA to lead design, security, and scaling of an AWS EKS-based CI/CD platform and bootstrap our production cloud services. Hybrid Reston-based role with on-call responsibilities and a strong emphasis on infrastructure as code and GitOps.

The position requires expert AWS Kubernetes experience, Terraform/Helm, and hands-on security best practices across SaaS and hybrid environments. Strong Python/Go scripting skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, provisioning, and ongoing maintenance of production-grade AWS EKS clusters (Rancher-managed) using Infrastructure as Code.
