Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is seeking an AWS Cloud & Platform Engineer III to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role demands 8+ years in DevOps, AWS cloud engineering, and platform engineering, focusing on scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and automated deployments.

You will design and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform, manage ECS/Fargate workloads, implement CloudWatch monitoring, and collaborate with security, data, and operations teams to ensure reliability and high availability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, AWS cloud engineering, platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and IaC.
• Proven ability to design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Experience with containerized workloads using ECS/Fargate and Docker.
• Scripting in Python or shell for automation.
• Knowledge of AWS security, monitoring, and high availability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage containerized workloads with ECS/Fargate, Docker.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and dashboards with CloudWatch.
• Support security, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and encryption.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with application, data, security, and architecture teams.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and operational readiness.
