Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead mid-market cloud architecture initiatives. The role focuses on enterprise-scale AWS design, automation, and data & AI solutions across multiple clients.

You will guide delivery teams, participate in client engagements, and develop reusable assets and whitepapers to demonstrate capabilities. Travel may be required; 7+ years of AWS experience and a strong background in architecture, scripting, and IaC are essential for this senior role

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years hands-on AWS experience and enterprise cloud design
• Experience with at least 1 AWS implementation or migration at enterprise scale
• Minimum 4 years scripting capability and environments as code
• Minimum 1 year of Automation/IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible etc.)
• AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate or Professional)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with core AWS platform architecture including VPC, subnets, and networking
• Knowledge of backup, DR, and data management strategies
• Experience with cost management and optimization in AWS
• Ability to lead and mentor delivery architects and staff

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable Enterprise Cloud Architecture and data/AI assets
• Lead as SME on Mid-Market AWS solutions during sales pursuits and client workshops
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in project delivery and architectural reviews
• Conduct independent architecture assessments and identify remediation steps
• Author technical whitepapers, briefs, and case studies to showcase capabilities
• Build relationships with technology partners to leverage latest platform features
• Mentor delivery architects and upskill staff on Enterprise Cloud and AI trends
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and governance for data & AI
• Monitor industry trends to inform investment priorities and positioning
• Support pursuit teams with effort estimation and delivery approaches
• Champion AI and advanced analytics to drive measurable business outcomes
• Travel may be required (0-100%)
