Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an AWS Identity Engineer to lead a large-scale migration across an enterprise cloud environment. The role will standardize identity services across AWS accounts and consolidate legacy providers into a unified platform to secure access for users, applications, and service accounts.

You will plan, implement, validate, and cutover migrations of AD domains, Windows/Linux workloads, and AWS WorkSpaces, coordinating with cloud operations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years IT with 5+ years cloud engineering and 3+ years IAM experience.
• Professional cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• Expert-level IAM and access management experience.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, domain migration and GPO administration.
• Experience migrating identities and services with validation and cutover.
• 5+ years Windows/Linux admin experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AWS identity standardization and migration across multiple cloud accounts.
• Design consolidation of legacy identity providers into a single enterprise platform.
• Plan and manage AD/domain migrations for Windows and Linux EC2 instances.
• Migrate users, groups, roles, permissions, and service accounts with least-privilege access.
• Oversee WorkSpaces rebuilds/migrations with the WorkSpaces team.
• Configure and maintain Group Policy Objects for Windows WorkSpaces and EC2.
• Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, validation criteria.
• Provide technical leadership and cross-functional coordination during migration lifecycle.
