Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an experienced AWS Identity Engineer to lead a large-scale migration across an enterprise cloud environment. You will standardize identity services across AWS accounts and consolidate legacy providers into a unified platform.

You will plan, implement, validate, and cutover migrations for AD domains, Windows/Linux workloads, and service accounts with minimal business disruption, partnering with security, operations, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years IT experience with 5+ years cloud engineering and 3+ years IAM in enterprise environments.
• Professional cloud certification (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP).
• Expert-level AWS IAM, account access controls, identity federation, security groups, cloud-native identity services.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, domain consolidation and migration, GPO administration.
• Experience planning/executing complex identity/domain migrations with validation and cutover.
• 5+ years Windows/Linux administration in engineering/support roles.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AWS identity standardization, migrating account access to a unified identity provider and domain model.
• Consolidate legacy identity providers into a single enterprise identity platform.
• Plan and manage AD and domain migration for Windows/Linux EC2 instances; map and validate identities.
• Migrate users, groups, roles, permissions, and service accounts across ~20 cloud accounts with least-privilege access.
• Oversee AWS WorkSpaces rebuilds and migrations, aligning to target identity provider.
• Configure and maintain Group Policy Objects for WorkSpaces and EC2 instances.
• Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and post-cutover support.
• Provide leadership, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination throughout migration.
