Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an AWS Identity Engineer to lead a large-scale enterprise migration. You will standardize identity services across AWS accounts, consolidate legacy providers, and ensure secure access for users, apps, and service accounts.

This hands-on role partners with cloud operations, security, and stakeholder teams to translate complex requirements into executable migration plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 12+ years IT experience with 5+ years cloud engineering and 3+ years IAM in enterprise-scale environments.
• Professional cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP).
• Expert-level IAM, account controls, federation, and security groups knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of AD, LDAP, domain consolidation, and GPO administration.
• Experience migrating identities, domains, and service accounts with validation.
• Windows and Linux admin experience in engineering/support roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AWS identity standardization including account access migration to a unified provider.
• Consolidate legacy identity providers into a single enterprise platform.
• Plan and manage AD/domain migration for Windows and Linux EC2 instances.
• Map, migrate, and validate users, groups, roles, permissions, and service accounts across ~20 cloud accounts.
• Oversee WorkSpaces rebuild/migration aligning to target provider and ops needs.
• Configure and maintain Group Policy Objects for WorkSpaces and EC2.
• Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and post-cutover support.
• Provide technical leadership and cross-functional coordination through migration lifecycle.
