Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an AWS Identity Engineer to lead a large-scale cloud identity migration across enterprise accounts. You will standardize identity services and unify legacy providers into one enterprise platform.

You will plan, validate, and execute migrations for Windows/Linux workloads, AD domains, and WorkSpaces, coordinating with cloud operations, security, and stakeholders to ensure secure, least-privilege access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 12 years IT experience, incl 5+ years cloud engineering and 3+ years IAM in enterprise environments.
• Professional cloud certification in AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP.
• Expert-level AWS IAM, account controls, federation, security groups and cloud-native IAM.
• Deep knowledge of AD, LDAP, domain migration/consolidation, OUs and GPOs.
• Experience planning and executing complex migrations with validation and cutover.
• 5+ years Windows and Linux admin experience in engineering or ops roles.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of an enterprise AWS identity standardization initiative.
• Consolidate legacy identity providers into a single enterprise platform.
• Plan and manage AD and domain migrations for Windows and Linux EC2 instances.
• Map and validate users, groups, roles, and service accounts across ~20 cloud accounts.
• Oversee WorkSpaces rebuilds and migrations aligned to the target identity provider.
• Configure GPOs for Windows WorkSpaces/EC2 in partnership with IT teams.
• Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans and rollback procedures.
• Provide leadership and cross-functional coordination throughout migration lifecycle.
