Job summary

Think Consulting seeks a Senior AWS Identity & Data Platform Engineer to design and manage AWS IAM Identity Center environments (AWS SSO) and secure access for enterprise analytics and AI services. The role combines cloud engineering with data platform knowledge to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will optimize access governance, cross-account access, and data workflows using Glue, Lambda, and other AWS services, collaborating across security, architecture, and data teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience configuring and administering AWS IAM Identity Center, including permission sets and federation.
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM, roles, policies, trust policies, and cross-account access.
• Hands-on experience with Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Experience building and supporting data pipelines and analytics workloads in AWS.
• Strong SQL skills for large datasets and data quality validation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS IAM Identity Center environments with federation and account provisioning.
• Develop secure access models and governance for AWS analytics and AI services.
• Configure IAM roles, policies, and cross-account access using least-privilege.
• Support AWS analytics solutions using Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Build data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows with AWS services.
• Develop reports, analyze datasets, write SQL queries, and validate data quality.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, application, and data teams to accelerate cloud adoption.
• Create automation to improve ops, security controls, and scalability.
• Evaluate complex business requirements and design cloud-based solutions.
