System One is seeking a Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer to join a team supporting enterprise applications in the financial services sector. The role emphasizes hands-on development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, and AWS.

You will work across application layers, drive architectural decisions, translate business requirements into reliable solutions, and boost development efficiency with modern engineering and AI-assisted practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Front end experience with Angular.
• Working proficiency with Python for application development, automation, or AI use cases.
• Strong hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed apps.
• Practical experience using GenAI/AI development tools in daily software development.
• Understanding of LLMs and agent-based workflows in software.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and Python.
• Build and support cloud-native applications and services in AWS-heavy environments.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Develop and support APIs, microservices, and distributed components.
• Use GenAI and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Apply AI/LLM-based workflows to automate development tasks.
• Create unit and automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product partners and stakeholders in Agile delivery.
• Mentor less experienced developers while coding hands-on.
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and reliability practices.
