Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior AWS Engineer to join a focused, small team supporting AWS cloud service offerings for a government agency undergoing cloud modernization and migration.

The ideal candidate is a motivated team-player with deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing, passionate about automation, collaboration, and driving technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions.
• FISMA Moderate/High environment experience preferred.
• AWS Developer Associate certification.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS-focused engineering team toward common goals.
• Build and support YAML-based CI/CD pipelines with major tools.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Design hybrid and cloud-native architectures for IaaS/PaaS.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to automate processes.
