Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Automation specialist to design, build and operate secure AWS environments using Terraform, and to standardize infrastructure across hybrid clouds. The role emphasizes automation, secure baselines, and scalable modules.

You will drive DevOps enablement through CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration on ECS, and robust monitoring with Splunk and AppDynamics, while aligning with NIST/CIS/ISO controls. Public Trust eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, CS or four years of related experience
• Minimum six years hands-on AWS cloud and DevOps/platform engineering
• Strong Terraform experience for AWS infrastructure automation
• Strong Jenkins/CI-CD experience with YAML/Groovy pipelines
• Docker containerization experience
• Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks (NIST/CIS/ISO 27000)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal/DoD Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of AWS services with Terraform
• Deploy, configure, harden, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments
• Build reusable Terraform modules to standardize environments
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and containerized workloads on ECS
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure with Splunk, Zabbix, and AppDynamics
• Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents
• Collaborate with security, networking, and engineering teams on secure configurations
