Job summary

Specialized Bicycles, Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate the cloud backbone for next-generation connected e-bike systems from the Turbo E-Bike Division.

You will shape scalable AWS infrastructure, implement Terraform-based provisioning, and drive secure, automated software delivery across microservices. The role requires strong DevOps experience in AWS, IaC, CI/CD, containerization, and security-focused practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in AWS production.
• Strong Terraform or similar IaC experience.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Docker and container-based architectures experience.
• Event-driven or microservices architecture experience.
• Knowledge of GitHub workflows and code reviews.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Grafana).
• Understanding cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop IaC with Terraform to provision resources across environments.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Enforce GitHub-based development practices and reviews.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure (DevSecOps).
• Design monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for reliability.
• Maintain operational reliability of critical systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth production deployments.
