Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Architecture team and lead design and optimization of our AWS footprint.

You will collaborate with architecture, security, and compliance teams to implement scalable, cost-aware solutions across EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more. The role emphasizes automation, IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform), scripting with AWS CLI/SDKs, and strong Linux/Windows systems experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and supporting AWS Cloud-based infrastructure and Linux systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, security, cost optimization and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud technologies within Stride governance policies.
• Document and maintain cloud infrastructure configurations and procedures.
• Provide guidance on building new AWS solutions and optimize existing ones.
• Script, automate, and report on shared systems to improve efficiency and cost control.
