Job summary

Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the Artemis platform development, delivering scalable, production-ready features using React/TypeScript, Python or Node.js, and AWS.

You will drive AI-enabled capabilities, mentor teams, and ensure secure, compliant solutions while shaping architectural patterns and CI/CD practices across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong front-end experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong back-end experience with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on with AWS cloud services (serverless, APIs, storage, AI).
• Experience building enterprise integrations (Snowflake, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Experience with relational databases and REST APIs.
• Proficient in GitHub-based workflows and code review.
• Hands-on AI/LLM, agent-based workflows and CI/CD.
• Proven track record turning prototypes into production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Artemis platform capabilities.
• Design full-stack features across React/TypeScript and Python/Node.js.
• Drive UI/UX decisions to keep Artemis intuitive as it scales.
• Build AI-enabled capabilities and agent-based workflows with guardrails.
• Integrate with Snowflake, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, GitHub.
• Establish reusable patterns, coding standards, and components.
• Write automated tests and advance CI/CD practices.
• Support deployments and production issue resolution.
• Mentor developers and review pull requests to reduce key-person risk.
