Caterpillar Inc. in Nashville seeks a senior leader to own the Artemis platform, guide a global delivery team, and turn business priorities into scalable, AI-enabled solutions across IT and business functions.

You will drive governance, standard practices, risk controls, and secure delivery, collaborating with security, architecture, and vendor teams to deliver measurable value in a highly visible role. The role requires onsite work five days a week in Nashville, with relocation and sponsorship

Qualifications

Experience leading delivery of a software product or platform at scale.
Proven ability to define and execute software testing strategies and QA practices.
Familiarity with modern web stacks and cloud services; ability to engage engineers credibly.
Experience applying generative AI responsibly within software delivery.

Responsibilities

Own the Artemis roadmap and backlog; prioritize demand and define outcomes.
Lead a global delivery team; remove blockers and ensure flow from refinement to production.
Standardize delivery processes with common workflows, milestones, and tools.
Define AI/automation roles within the delivery process and governance.
Establish an Artemis operating model with governance and audit-ready controls.
Own testing strategy including test planning, automation, and validation during pilots.
Collaborate with security teams to embed cybersecurity standards in design and delivery.
Translate needs into clear requirements and trade-offs with stakeholders.
Work with vendor management to ensure timely, quality contractor work.
Identify and manage delivery, technical, and compliance risks; propose options.
Drive adoption through demos, training, and usage measurement; report progress.
