Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer to design and support enterprise AWS data solutions in a 100% remote US-based role. You will focus on cloud-native ETL, data ingestion, and REST APIs for enterprise platforms.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable data workflows and production-grade cloud services, with emphasis on governance and data quality.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with ETL development and data integration in enterprise environments.
• REST API development/integration experience.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Glue, EventBridge).
• Experience building cloud-native applications and supporting production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise AWS data solutions.
• Build scalable ETL pipelines and cloud-native integrations.
• Develop and support REST APIs for enterprise data platforms.
• Create and maintain cloud-based data ingestion and transformation workflows.
• Partner with Architecture, Data Engineering, and Business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize cloud performance.
• Support data quality, governance, and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Deliver reusable, maintainable solutions using AWS best practices.
