Qualifications

• Over 13 years in IT with 8+ in data engineering/analytics and enterprise data platform implementation.
• 8+ years in AWS data architecture across S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, EMR, Lake Formation, Kinesis, RDS.
• 3+ years integrating Salesforce with external data platforms via APIs/connectors.
• 3+ years leading data engineering teams as a Technical Architect/Lead.
• 4+ years Tableau dashboard development, data modeling and performance tuning.
• 3+ years real-time and batch data processing, streaming frameworks and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and define enterprise-level data architecture across AWS data platforms, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
• Architect and oversee data lakes/lakehouse solutions using AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Lake Formation).
• Lead robust ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and real-time) with high data quality and performance.
• Integrate Salesforce with AWS platforms and align data models (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
• Establish Tableau BI standards including semantic layer design, dashboard governance and security.
• Provide hands-on leadership in SQL, Python/PySpark, and query optimization for large datasets.
• Enforce data governance, security (IAM, encryption) and compliance; guide CI/CD and IaC deployments (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Review designs and code for scalability and best practices.
