Job summary

Aroha Technologies, Inc. seeks an AWS Data Architect in Alameda, CA to design scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. You will architect data lakes, lead ETL/ELT development, and ensure secure data flow between Salesforce and AWS services.

With 13–20 years in IT and 8+ years in data engineering, you will guide teams, implement CI/CD for data platforms, and mentor engineers while optimizing Tableau dashboards and data models for business insights.

Qualifications

15+ years of IT experience, with 8+ years in Data Engineering & Analytics and enterprise data platform implementation.
6+ years hands-on AWS data architecture experience (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, EMR, Lake Formation).
3+ years integrating Salesforce with external data platforms via APIs/connectors.
4+ years Tableau experience: dashboards, data modeling, performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Design enterprise data architecture across AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Develop data lakes/lakehouse solutions using AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Lake Formation).
Lead robust ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and real-time) with high data quality.
Integrate Salesforce data with AWS platforms and define enterprise data models (Star/Snowflake).
Establish BI architecture standards in Tableau with semantic layer, governance, and security.
Provide hands-on leadership in SQL, Python/PySpark, and optimization for large data sets.
Define data governance, security, and compliance across the data ecosystem.
