Job summary

Agile Ventures Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect for a remote/ Alameda CA role. You will design enterprise data architecture across AWS, build data lakes, lead batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines, and integrate Salesforce with AWS data platforms.

You will mentor data engineering teams, optimize SQL/Python workloads, and establish Tableau-driven BI standards with security and governance in mind. US-based client-facing exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of IT experience with data engineering & analytics, including end-to-end data solution design and architecture.
• 6+ years hands-on AWS data architecture including S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, EMR, Lake Formation, Kinesis, RDS.
• 3+ years integrating Salesforce (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud) with external data platforms via APIs/connectors.
• 3+ years leading data engineering teams as Tech Architect/Lead with mentoring responsibilities.
• 4+ years Tableau experience: dashboard development, data modeling, performance tuning.
• 3+ years real-time and batch data processing architectures with streaming frameworks and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data architecture across AWS data platforms with scalability, security, and performance.
• Architect and oversee data lakes/lakehouse solutions using AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Lake Formation).
• Lead robust ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and real-time) ensuring data quality and performance.
• Integrate Salesforce with AWS data platforms.
• Define enterprise data models (dimensional modeling) to support analytics and reporting.
• Establish BI architecture standards with Tableau, including security and governance.
